We approached the need for electric power growth from several points of view: fossil fuel and cogeneration, hydropower, wind power, conservation and solar power. We recommend an incremental approach to integrating new systems and to evaluate the potential and cost effectiveness of alternatives: hydropower, wind power and cogeneration, before finalizing the design of new fossil fuel plants.
